RE/MAX Properties and RE/MAX Legend LLC merge

RE/MAX Properties in Saddle River and RE/MAX Legends LLC located in Mahwah have joined forces and merged, effective September 18, 2013. RE/MAX Legends agents will make the move to RE/MAX Properties' office located at 82 E. Allendale Road in Saddle River.

RE/MAX Properties is already the #1 office in Ramsey transactions to date in 2013 and with the merger, will also become the #1 office in Mahwah transactions to date in 2013.

Office meeting notes - October 2012

We had a great terrific meeting this week which was well-attended by our very busy agents. Below are some of the topics that were covered:

RE/MAX Convention - Las Vegas February 25-28. Can't stress enough what a great, "shot-in-the-arm" kind of event this is. Learn from your peers, make referral connections and reward your hard work and dedication. Special rate and layaway plan ends October 31.

Triple Play Convention - Takes place in Atlantic City December 4-6. Last minute CE courses will be available.

Business Planning Workshop - We had a constructive business planning session last week for our agents where we discussed time management, action plans and goal setting for 2013. It is going to be the best year yet!

Brian Buffini "Peak Peformance" Workshop - Getting revved up for our next Buffini workshop starting in late November. Tools provided by one of the top trainers for RE/MAX International, Brian Buffini.

Hiring an Assistant - Many of our agents are working so hard and may need to consider hire an assistant. Great article in CRS Magazine on figuring out when the time is right to hire someone.

Safety - The safety of our agents is our #1 priority. We're instituting a Client Registration Form that should be filled out when you first meet a client in the office and definitely before showing any properties, especially vacant homes. There are some great apps too: Agent Alarm, Moby, StreetSafe and Walkwithme.

New Technology - We're looking at some new technology that will help our agents work more efficiently: Docusign and Cavarti.

Social Media Workshop- We will be holding an informal Social Media Workshop in the office in the coming weeks. You'll learn everything you need to know about Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and blogging.

Food Drive - Two of our agents have spearheaded a fund-raising drive to benefit the Center for Food Action in Mahwah which is in dire need of donations.

Holiday Party - The annual RE/MAX Properties Holiday party will be on Saturday, December 1 at the Ramsey Golf&Country Club.

RE/MAX Properties help the Center for Food Action

As the holidays approach, we are more mindful of families who are struggling to put food on their tables.  The agents of RE/MAX Properties, in Saddle River, launched a drive to collect money to donate to an organization committed to helping these families.  The organization we chose was the Center for Food Action, in Mahwah.

 

The Center for Food Action was started by the late Harry Chapin, singer and composer, and Bill Ayers as an offshoot of World Hunger Year New Jersey, in 1976.  CFA opened its first location, in Fair Lawn, and served about 500 people.  Today, it has expanded to its main headquarters and six additional sites.  This year, CFA expects to exceed its 2009 outreach to serve more than 60,000 emergency food packages, and over 4,000 Thanksgiving packages.

 

CFA also works to prevent homelessness, and aids with utility assistance programs.  In addition, the number of pantries and soup kitchens has grown, across the state, from 30 organizations to over 900.

 

The opportunity to reach out to give people what they should all be able to expect is an honor, said Julie Cleary, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Properties. Our agents wanted to give to people who need a helping hand.  The Center for Food Action struggles to keep its shelves stocked, so we pooled our resources, and made a generous donation.

 

RE/MAX Properties recently moved to its new location at 82 E. Allendale Rd, in Saddle River, after having their previous office flooded several times.

 

 Our agents hadnt completely unpacked when the idea to reach out to help people who had nowhere to turn hit us. What we went through was nothing compared to what many families are facing, but it made us even more aware of how difficult life has become in this economy.

Kevin Errico joins RE/MAX Properties

Kevin Ericco Joins RE/MAX Properties

 

Kevin Errico has joined RE/MAX Properties in Saddle River as the newest member of  dynamic sales team. Errico brings to the office many years of experience in real estate and was formerly with Weichert in Franklin Lakes, where he was consistently a top producer.

My first responsibility is to help my buyers and sellers, to whom I dedicate providing the utmost of quality in real estate services," said Errico, a resident of Upper Saddle River.  "And my move to RE/MAX will be a significant benefit to my clients, because RE/MAX has the most powerful name brand in real estate." 

Were thrilled that Kevin Errico has joined our office, says Julie Cleary, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Properties. He was a top producer at his previous brokerage and we are absolutely sure that he will thrive at RE/MAX Properties.  

In giving back to his community, Errico is presently the treasurer of the Saddle River Swim and Tennis Club. He also was the committee chair for the Boy Scout Tropp 133 and coached baseball, basketball and soccer for the rec leagues.
